Synopsys
Motion Graphics
Software leader Synopsys challenged us to create a bespoke animation that explains how their new Ai software helps their clients design microchips faster, more efficiently and with better performance. Confused? You should be. Until you see our animation that explains this incredible new tech.
Deliverables
Making sense of the complex
Synopsys’ DSO technology enables autonomous optimisation of chip design. But, how do you show that in a 70 second animation?
We started by understanding what the technology does; it seeks to analyse, improve and speed up chip design processes using AI. With this understanding, we needed a way of conveying the intelligence of the product. We used the highly complex Chinese game Go as a visual metaphor to convey how the software’s artificial intelligence can learn and advance technology.
The most complex aspect of the animation deals with a theoretical triangle of performance, power and area. Here we showed the searching behaviour of the software, focusing on theoretical clusters of data that can be selected and refined.
