B&D showcases the future of education with Lenovo at Bett

We produced an EdTech showcase at Bett 2020 for our client Lenovo, designed to highlight its innovative approach to technology and take people on a journey of transformation.

Our brief was to create an exciting and engaging stand, designed to showcase the wide range of educational products and services Lenovo offers. Everything on the stand was designed to showcase how visitors can improve their schools with Lenovo’s help.

This is the third year Lenovo has tasked us with producing and running its presence at Bett. We knew we had to match, and exceed, the high bar we’d already set. We really took on the idea of movement and journeys in our work. Our graphics and copy all fed into this idea along with our stand’s set piece: an archway that pulsed with light progressing across it.

Naturally, our on-site activations also linked into the idea of transformation, as well has directly highlighting how Lenovo’s tech helps improve education. We worked with engineering organisation F1 in Schools to create a fastest-lap competition in a VR racing car, showcased AI Facial Recognition and even demonstrated how Fortnite’s base building can help spatial awareness.

Additionally, we helped Lenovo host a daily programme of seminars, providing expert knowledge and insight on some of the industry’s biggest questions.

The stand was a resounding success. With Lenovo booking numerous meetings and creating valuable new business leads.
