As avid game-playing commuters, we were naturally very excited when given the task of securing promotional partners on The Angry Birds Movie – the first time an App has been given the silver screen treatment. We had to ensure that our campaigns not only raised awareness around the release, but also engaged with a wide and varied audience.
To achieve this, we secured a range of partners both in the UK and on an International basis, including Frubes, Peperami, Panasonic Batteries and Accor Hotels. The support included over £1.5m worth of TV support in the UK and in excess of 100m promotional packs on shelf.
Over 10 million boxes, and 87 million individual tubes, Frubes’ exciting promotion is supported by a full 360 marketing campaign, including a 20 second TV Spot, in-store activation and the addition of an interactive Birds v Pigs Dance off, via their digital platform.
Using the tag line: The Official Stunt Animal of the The Angry Birds Movie, Peperami are airing a 10 second custom TV Spot, in 11 different markets, as well as an on-pack across c35m packs.
Powering up the Angry Birds, we have Panasonic Batteries, who are supporting via bespoke digital content (created by our in-house design team) and an engaging on-pack on the shelves of Waitrose and other participating retailers.
