Enid Blyton Entertainment chooses Brand & Deliver for UK partnerships

Enid Blyton Entertainment (EBE) has appointed Brand & Deliver (B&D) to secure UK brand partnerships for its portfolio of Enid Blyton brands.

Enid Blyton Entertainment, part of the Hachette Children’s Group (HCG), represents and protects every aspect of the Enid Blyton brand, including publishing, licensing and commercial partnerships.

B&D has been tasked with using its data-driven approach to look after partnership opportunities for Enid Blyton Entertainment, which includes much-loved and best-selling series such as The Famous Five, The Secret Seven and Malory Towers.

In 2017 the 75th anniversary year of The Famous Five was celebrated with new-look publishing from HCG. In the same year EBE launched their first licensed products for The Famous Five, including greetings cards, puzzles, games and dress-up and partnered with Great Western Railway for their ‘Five Go on a Great Western Adventure’ marketing campaign.

Katie Price, Licensing Director, Hachette Children’s Group comments, “As custodians, we safeguard the global legacy of this extraordinary author while keeping Enid Blyton in the hearts of every childhood, as she has been for generations. Working alongside Brand & Deliver will enable us to bring Enid Blyton’s stories and characters to new audiences via creative partnerships that will remain sympathetic to the original brand values.”

Ros Carmoody, Partnerships Director, at entertainment marketing specialists Brand & Deliver said, “We’re really excited to develop wholesome family partnerships for Enid Blyton Entertainment to build on and increase the brand’s recognition and appeal with existing fans and new audiences. Enid Blyton’s wealth of stories, characters and their sense of adventure, makes this an extremely appealing property to work with. Our partnerships and campaigns will stay true to the integrity of the Enid Blyton stories.”

Brand & Deliver is employed by a number of leading technology and entertainment companies to handle promotional partnerships, B2C and B2B event activation, branding and product marketing.
